B² is delighted to be offering Supported Employment Services as of May 2021. Many of our clients have unique skills and ambitions they are excited to pursue. With the help of B² job coaches, job developers and Vocational Rehab - Our Employment Division’s purpose is to support our ambitious clients in the working world so they are independent, achieving their goals, and create life long relationships with people in their community.

Services we provide:

Career Explorations is funded through VR to find the individuals hidden talents, strengths and gifts and find job goals that fit.
Job Development Services is funded through VR to help the individual find a provider (like B2CC) to help the individual find Integrated Community Employment.
The individual will work one-on-one with one of our Employment Specialists to observe and experience different type of employment goals or paths. We do Job shadowing and skill building.

Let’s face it, sit down interviews are extremely stressful for everyone. We like “working interviews” which we offer the employer a chance to watch the individual actually work on the job. At the end of the interview, if the individual likes the job and the employer has observed the individual and they have performed well a job offer will be made.
We work with High School Transitions preparing them for employment. Helping them through the process and relieving their anxiety of entering into Job Development. We also show success story videos.
As a provider, we make a new resume for our individuals when we start job development and will assist with filling out online applications. Some individuals may not present well and a Video Resume can be made.

My job is fun, I love washing cars and my co-workers treat me like family.
The best part about working with B²CC is I like to see my job coach and take their advice for my duties. I also love the Special Olympics event that we do and going to all of the parties.
One piece of advice for individuals looking for work would be to have a B²CC Employment Specialist help you find a job and help you to keep the job.

What I enjoy most about my job is reconnecting with old friends from high school.
The best part about working with B²CC is they help with accommodations and getting things figured out.
One piece of advice for individuals who are looking for work is to keep following up with the employer, never give up and keep pursuing.

We work with the individual on soft skills, which include;
- Hygiene
- Social Media
- Interview skills
- How to present yourself on the job
- What not to talk about to coworkers
This service is used for an individual when they are close to getting a job. (Working interview)
Job Coaches are with the individual on the job site to ensure the individual is learning their job.
